Welcome to the Idolverse

Living in the lap of luxury.

[This entire Carrd is a never-ending WIP. Some pages are less finished than others.]

The "Idolverse" [Official Title TBD] is a (primarily) 2-person collaborative work of fiction centered on a recurring cast of characters spanning multiple mediums, narratives, and often genres (though a few stay consistent, such as Romance... and Horror).

This is a very, very, very dark series that's often focused heavily on trauma, and, as such, I will be listing every major content warning I can think of below. While this Carrd will never be particularly explicit, this is an overview of what you might expect in the Idol fiction we create (though, no, not every piece of Idolverse media will utilize these); this list may still miss a few, to which we apologize, so consider that an extra warning.

So. CWs for the following:

Dead Dove: Do Not Eat (see this Fanlore page for more information on the term), Poor Life Choices, Unhealthy Coping Mechanisms, Large Age/Power Differences even in Consensual/"Healthy" (within the contexts of canon) Relationships, Fetishization/Objectification, Non-Consensual (... and actually Consensual) Kink Play, Queer/Trans and Intersex Suffering as a Major Theme (also: very graphic Racism, Ableism, and any other bigotry you can imagine), Forced Marriages, Childhood Trauma, Parricide, Child-and-up Abuse (Physical, Neglect, Psychological, Sexual), Molestation, Gang Rape, Cultish Family, Ritualistic Normalized Rape, Underage Rape, Parent/Child Incest, Sibling Incest.

About

The Idolodulia family is comprised of two things:

One:
A broad network of interconnected biological, adopted, and politically-tethered familial clusters with overlapping goals of power, unity, strength, and efficient domination. When looked at as a whole, you could easily consider them their own nation within nations.

Two:
The Monarch Branch. These are the only ones allowed the Idolodulia surname, and their current generation is the focus of this Carrd.

Idolverse canon operates under a multiverse, which looks vaguely similar to that of, say, Rick and Morty; there's an infinite number of canons, and as such, a large amount of Idol content is inherently self-contained.

The Children:
Godhead is The Heir, Lucifer is The Spare, Isaac is The Disposable, Moses is The Novelty, Christopher is The Pet, and Christian (new addition, more information to be added soon) is The Baby.

The Rulers:
Archelaus is The Father, Lilith is The Mother, Jehova is The Original Spare, Khristofór is The Original Disposable.

Godhead

Christian “Godhead” Idolodulia, the eldest son and current heir to the Idolodulia family.

Upon announcement of his heir status, he was quick to stop answering to any uses of his given name and already insists (at least upon his siblings and any cousins) on being referred to as Godhead exclusively. Raised cold and haughty, his life is a constant battle of suppressing his compassion for his siblings in order to fulfill the duties of his family and title. As sickly a young adult as he was a child, medicine and unhealthy levels of personal discipline help him maintain a facade of strength that he knows all too well is easy to fracture.

His main goal in life is to kill his father, take the throne, and find a suitable Bride to carry on his legacy... yet the thought of killing anyone, even his father, is becoming less appealing by the day.

Moses

Moses Idolodulia (deadname: Josephine), is the adopted younger sibling of the household.

Chosen primarily because of his looks, physical strength (and health), and assigned gender to "appease Lilith’s urge for a daughter". A trans boy, artist, and jack-of-all-trades, Moses is a voice of rationale and reason (likely due to his outsider upbringing in addition to his inherent personality), as well as a source of surprising warmth and compassion amidst endless cruelty.

Mo is often tasked with caretaking for Christopher/his siblings/the Household as a whole. Relatedly, he's usually the strongest contender for Bride, which also played a role in his adoption.

Christopher

Christopher Idolodulia, the youngest of the household and his father's favorite (though he's often tied with or a close second after the newest addition, Christian -- his bio will be added ~soon).

Being the favorite certainly doesn’t give him any sort of leniency in terms of treatment, however, because the Idol standard of showing love is not a gentle one. Quiet, autistic, and externally stoic in his mannerisms, Christopher idolizes (no pun intended) GH, and is devoted to Moses. A sweet chronic biter hiding behind a frown and a pile of stuffed animals.

Due to a variety of chronic health conditions, Christopher primarily uses a wheelchair.

Lucifer

Lucifer “Luci” Idolodulia, the twin (or triplet, depending) brother of GH, and, therefore, the designated Spare.

He's (usually) spent the vast majority of his life in a lonely cage in a dark basement. A gentle, gender-confused, faith-driven sweetheart, his kindness proved too detrimental to ultimately consider for the heir role, despite his stronger physical health, and thus was banished to try to prevent any continued emotional ties between himself and GH.

His pronouns vary; 'he, she, or they' are all accurate, it's more... the intent that he cares about.

Isaac

Isaac “Isa” Idolodulia, the triplet sister of GH and Luci, and (usually) an unacceptable female child by Lilith’s standards.

Much like Luci, most canons see her kept in solitude for the majority of her childhood, though under less rigid guard, and in an attic rather than a basement. Somewhat nurturing (or wants to be) by nature, though often (from a lack of mental health services) overcome by her drive to be a sadomasochistic gorewhore and kinkster, she and GH have a strong, albeit dangerous, chemistry.

Isa is often depicted as deceased at birth or earlier in development, depending on the narrative.

Archelaus

Archelaus T. Idolodulia (otherwise known OOC as Archie or Fatherhead/FH as an in-joke), current acting Godhead, the patriarch of the ruling Idol family.

An extremely intelligent, calculating, and sadistic man, his lack of empathy (well, so he thinks) and eye for detail has lauded him as one of the most well-regarded of all Godheads in modern Idol history. His bounds for cruelty are composed but thorough, a tactic used to control, to train, and to entertain. His relationship with his Bride is playful and mutually beneficial, though devoid of any sort of traditional sense of romantic love. His favorite of his children is his youngest, Christopher (and/or Christian), and his cruelties towards him are sometimes escalated due to his sense of love and genuine affection... or, depending, the first signs of fractures in his evil resolve come in an increasing desire to spoil and better accomodate him.

For a wide variety of reasons, FH is a character we've begun to experiment more heavily with in terms of redemption narratives -- we are fully aware that he's beyond cruel and likely too Gross to be considered worth the effort, but... what isn't fun about a sexy-evil-DILF related challenge?

Lillith

Lilith Idolodulia (MH), current acting Bride and the mother of the current Godhead’s offspring.

Cold, bitter, and hateful, her distaste at the lack of an acceptable daughter only fuels her annoyance at her lot in life. Lilith is the first cousin of her husband (... and sometimes his half-sibling, though they usually don't know that); the majority of her direct relatives (including a prior fiance) were slaughtered to prevent a coup and to successfully take her as a Bride.

(Mod note: Lilith is a complex character who's somewhat underutilized in most storylines; her personality above is at-a-glance/what most know her to be, but hopefully we give her a more character-focused project in the future to let her shine.)

Khristofór

Khristofór (or: Kristophe/Kristoffer/Khris) Idolodulia is one of Archelaus’ two triplet brothers and one of his few remaining (blood) siblings.

Kept in isolation for the majority of their shared childhood together, Archelaus’ affection for his brother in most canons generally manifests in graphic acts of torture in their few moments together. Usually, Khris is sent off to live with their other brother; in the canons that see Archie and Khris as mere twins, Archelaus marries Khris to a lower level Uncle upon taking control of the family. In nearly every canon, they do not correspond nor keep in touch.

Khris is often extremely psychologically warped due to his upbringing and continued torture (or isolation) at the hands of his husband (or brother(s)).

Jehova

!WIP!

Christianus (or: Kristian/Christian) "Jehova" Idolodulia is one of Archelaus’ two triplet brothers and one of his few remaining (blood) siblings.

Jehova (generally) lives in Russia, (generally) owns his own branch, and is head over heels for both Archie and whoever else is unlucky enough to catch his eyes.

He is extremely dangerous.

The Color Guard

!WIP!

The Color Guard is the soft, unofficial name for Moses's biological family, which is... huge.

[We'll leave this section very barren for now; the CGs are themselves very much Under Construction.]
